I would like to get a sewing machine under 50 bucks, if possible brother or singer and with shipping

katspoints

Becky
I love this idea. If you could keep your eyes open for a wii fit in your surfing. It runs around $89.00, I really do not want it bundled becuase the stuff that comes with it I don't need (travel sleeve). Any coupons would be appreciated. I have seen them but they are always out of stock. If I have another pair of eyes that would be great. I am so excited about this. I think I will do really well with my xmas shopping with you and QR. Keep up the great work!!!!!

Becky

Hi, Fatema! Here are a couple of options for you:

SewPro SP-402 QuickStitch Sewing Machine, $43.49 including shipping at Amazon. (Amazon doesn't allow rewards programs to pay cash back on purchases from them.) I read reviews of this, though, and they said it was pretty junky. So, if this is to be a heavily-used machine, I'd pass on this particular one.

The good thing about buying from Amazon, though, is that you can cash out your QR earnings for Amazon credit. So, do some surveys and some offers at QR, and you can use that toward the purchase of a nicer machine at Amazon, like the Brother LS2125I for $79.99 shipped! Or, the Singer 8280 at Amazon (under Buying Choices, click "3 used & new" and there's a seller who has it, including shipping, $88.68 -- it's new, the seller has awesome feedback, and you can use your Amazon GCs to pay for it).

Overstock.com is not currently a QR merchant (it has to do with QR being based in New York and some stupid tax law, it's something all parties involved are trying to resolve) but the take PayPal, which you can earn through QR! And they have a big sale on refurbished sewing machines, plus I found a coupon code for 10% off! Go to Overstock and search for Brother LS 30 (just $59.99 before the code!). Next, login to your Overstock account, or create one if you don't have one. Under #4 Billing Information, under Bill Me Later, there's a check box to check that says Use Promo Code. Put in: 116170 and click Apply. They'll take off $6, then add $2.95 for shipping. Your total out of pocket will be $56.94. Sometimes Overstock does free shipping on all orders on the weekend -- if you're not in a big rush, you might want to hold off and see if they do it this weekend!

Kmart has a little sewing machine called the Euro-Pro Dressmaker II on sale for $26.99 (QR offers 1.3% cash back for Kmart). With shipping, it's $33.24 (they'll also tack on tax).

You may also want to see what you can find at Ebay! QR rewards for purchases there, too (around 2%; it's based on the seller's listing fees). Just be sure to click through QR's link before each and every BIN at Ebay in order to get credit!

I hope one of these suggestions will work for you, but if not, please send me an email: blogger@quickrewards.net and I'll do some more digging for you!

Becky

Katspoints, yours is a lot harder!

You're right, they are really hard to find outside of the bundle pre-order, and I think discounts on them will be hard to come by...probably through Christmas.

I did find it in stock at MacMall (QR pays 1.3%) for $107.99. They will charge you $6.99 shipping but the shipping will be free after rebate. I'm not positive it's in stock there, though. It says "generally in stock." What the heck's that supposed to mean? Surely they have a real-time inventory system? Eh, it might be worth a shot, though.

Other than that, all I can recommend is what I suggested to Fatema above -- earn QR credit and cash it out for Amazon credit, using that to get the out of pocket price down, or cash it out for PayPal and use that to buy it from Ebay (which you can earn a little cash back on through QR).

I'm sorry I didn't help much on your request but I WILL keep an eye out for it and will let you know if I find a good price!

Whitney

Love this! Will use it soon as I develop my wish list. Thanks so much!

Lee Ann

Now, I have tons of things I want or need; but, I am drawing a blank! This is a good idea and I'll have to think on this awhile.

Anyway, thank you for being willing to do this for us! I'm still getting into the hang of shopping for the best price. :-)

Frugal One

I would like to find some Bum Genius 3.0 cloth diapers for a cheap price. Used BG 3.0 would be okay too, as long as the diaper inserts are included in the price. I would like to order these by the end of the day Friday. Thanks!

Frugal One

Sorry I should have included a price in my above comment. They sell regularly for $17.95, so in my opinion, a good price would be $13 or less.

Beachstar83

I would love to find the Fisher Price Starlight baby Papasan swing for under $100 and free shipping if applicable. I also would love to find a Boppy pillow under $20. I need these items as soon as possible because I am in pre-term labor and my son is going to be born any day now!! I am unfortunately on a tight budget as I have had to cut back hours at work because of this pre-term labor and I am now on bedrest. So I am bored with very little money, please help!!

Becky

Hi, Frugal One!

Very nice product!

Are you willing to buy 3 of them at a time? You could go through QuickRewards to Diapers.com (1.3% cash back), use coupon code AFFL10 for $10 off your first $50 order (they make you register for the site for you to see the discount in your cart), and three of them would get you over the $50 for free shipping. Unless you live in PA, they don't charge tax. My total for 3 after coupon was $43.85 shipped, or about $14.62 each (and hey, you will get $0.57 cash back from QR). Plus, Diapers.com throws in a free subscription to Parenting with your first purchase.

I looked all over the place (including websites not affiliated with QR) and had couldn't find a way to get them cheaper. Even Ebay auctions are closing at over $15 each -- I read that there was a shortage of them in the U.S.!

Sorry I couldn't get it any lower than that...if you find it lower online, please post so anyone else shopping for them can benefit from your information -- thanks!

Becky

Hi, Beachstar83! WAIT! Don't go to the hospital until you do this!

The cheapest price I could find the Starlight Papasan swing ANYWHERE was at Amazon, where it's $116.88 shipped (that's for the white one; the pink one's a little higher). As you probably know, Amazon won't let anyone offer cash back for purchases there. ***BUT!*** I would like to give you a baby gift: $15 in Amazon credit, which will bring your total down to $101.88 including shipping! If you want to support QR by shopping through the QuickRewards link to Amazon, you certainly can, but it's not required for my gift.

I will forward this to you at the email address you left when you posted your comment, but if you read this on the blog first, email me at blogger@quickrewards.net and let me know to which email address I should send your Amazon credit.

Thanks for trying out my Help Me Find a Deal service and for supporting QuickRewards!

Now...I'm going digging for a deal on your Boppy! :)

Normilda

Hi Becky
Love all the shopping stuff - just haven't been able to use much of it yet - college fees are due soon - and with 3 daughters in college - my money is tight until about the end of September - LOL.
But I do have a request. As you know I am a chef, and actually love cooking. What I need from you is:
Bakeware - I love collecting the different shapes and styles of the bundt cake pans and "specialty shaped" bake pans. I love the brands "nordic ware" and "wilton" and "caphalon" - but I am willing to try other brands if they are up to standards or if you can find the really expensive ones on sale.
Normal price range for these are from $25.00 to $65.00. ($65 being large multicartment ones like train sets). So any deal would help - and yes - I would love free shipping since pans weigh a lot and I usually pay a lot in shipping when I order online. Coupon codes are great too. And I want to be able to shop through Quick Rewards. No timeline as I will be shopping sparingly till the end of September.
Okay, now that I bored you and gave you a daunting task - have a super great day LOL!
Take Care And God Bless
Normilda

Normilda

Sorry, typing on very little sleep. I meant to type Multi-compartment instead of multicartment. I know you knew what I meant - but I just wanted to clarify. ha ha ha.
okay, go find me that deal
Hugs, Normilda

miranda

Becky,

Is there a place to find travel sized toiletries that is a QR merchant? I checked drugstore.com but they didn't have much selection. I need to get some supplies for our upcoming Disney World Vacation (where I can spend all of my Disney Gift Cards from QR)

Becky

Still looking for that Boppy for Beachstar83!

Normilda, will keep an eye out for you! I do find a lot of great deals on cooking stuff at Amazon.com, particularly in their Friday Sale. You might want to think about cashing out your QR earnings into Amazon GCs! But I will still keep an eye out at other merchants! You buy things off-season like I do to save money, right? (I get Christmas cookie cutters in January, heart-shaped pans in March, etc.) Will let you know what I find! (p.s.: No, you didn't bore me at all, and Iope you get some sleep, btw!)

Miranda, are you looking for name brand travel size items? Yves Rocher sells some of their brand items in travel or sample sizes. So does Sephora. But I'd think seriously about two other options: buying travel-sized containers (they may carry them at your local Dollar Tree or Dollar General) and filling them yourselves from full-sized items from home -- much cheaper overall than buying travel sized items... or scouring the internet for sample size products you can get for free. I find these all the time and post them on one of my other websites, TipBlog.com. Walmart gives out a lot of free samples on their site. Sometimes other sites offer them, too. Here's one to get your collection started (free sample Degree deodorant for men): http://www.degreemen.com/Men/Absolute-Free-Sample.aspx

You might want to check out The Container Store, a QR merchant that pays 4.1% cash back. They sell the plastic containers if you go the fill-it-yourself route. Or Amazon and use some QR-earned GCs there (shipping's usually free on $25 orders, or I may have a little secret on how to get free shipping if you see something under $25 that you want).

The pre-filled travel sizes are awfully convenient, though. Maybe you could cash out your QR earnings for a Target GC and use it for that? Just tossing out some ideas...I think these will be harder to find online at a good price, but I'll keep checking!

Ann

Becky,

My daughter saw a pair of metallic short ugg boots that she would love to have. They were $150 at the mall. Could you keep your eyes open for a deal on these? Thanks

Becky

Normilda, I thought of you when I saw this -- it's a printable coupon good for 40% off Wilton products at Hobby Lobby!: http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/coupon.cfm (hurry, though: it expires on Saturday!)

Beachstar83, I haven't forgotten about your Boppy! Will look some more tonight! Don't have that baby yet!

Ann, I had a few minutes this morning to look around for your daughter's metallic Uggs. They don't carry them (at least, not yet) at Macy's online, Shoes.com, or Shoebuy, but they do have them at Zappos for $154 with free shipping, no sales tax, and 8% cash back through QuickRewards, making it $141.68. Eh. Let me see if I can do better than that! Will get back with you soon!

Keep those deal requests coming!

Kim

Stride Rite has come out with new Nick Slimmer Tennis Shoes and they are $50, too rich for this mom's purse. Do you know of any Stride Rite coupon codes or possibly some place else that might be selling them. I don't know if they are an exclusive to Stride Rite or not!

Becky

Hi, Kim! These are new shoes and they're a little hard to find! Shoebuy and Zappos, didn't carry them, nor did any of the other stores I checked except for StrideRite.com, which doesn't do any affiliate programs (so no cashback's available anywhere). Nordstrom had them, but they were $50-$52 plus shipping and tax, no coupons available, and no QR cash back!

So, after a lot of digging, I found you this deal and I think it's the best price you'll find anywhere!

Go through QuickRewards' link to Shoes.com to activate 10% cash back. On Shoes.com, do a search for Stride Rite Slimer. There are several styles for boys and girls, they're either $48 or $50 depending on the style.

After you add the one you want to your cart, use code BTS08 for 15% off. On a $50 pair, it'll bring your out of pocket total to $42.50. There's no tax and shipping's free -- both ways in case the shoes don't fit. You'll get $4.25 cash back from QR.

Your total for the $50 shoes, after the coupon code and 10% QR cash back: $38.25.

Hope that's a little closer to your budget!

Normilda

Hi Becky

Thank you so very much for the coupon. I don't have any hobby lobby near me - but my sister up north does. So I emailed her the link for the coupon.

She printed it out and took a trip to her local hobby lobby. Then she called me once she was there and told me all the differnt pans that they had. And I told her which one to get me.

I am now the proud owner of a muffin/cupcake pan with the shapes of vegetables. How cool!!!!!!!! This is so gonna be used during thanksgiving to make some wonderful cheescake swirl cupcakes. Not only delicious - but now very decorative. LOL

My sister also printed herself a coupon - but bought a cake decorating set - I couldn't get her to buy me a second pan (ha ha ha). Will be picking my pan up when I go up north to get my veggies that my daddy has grown. He plants a huge crop of fruits and vegetables every year - and sells some and give a ton of it away to all of us kids. I love fresh fruits and veggies.

Thanks again for the coupon. I am still looking for more though. Oh, price of my pan - with tax $9.72 (how awesome is that - makes 18 cupcakes in the shape of veggies).

Take Care And God Bless
Hugs, Normilda

Becky

You're very welcome, Normilda! I'm so glad you got something nice with the coupon! Guess what? This week the coupon's good for 40% off any regular price item and their Wilton's regular price this week! So maybe you can talk your sis into making another Hobby Lobby run for you! Here's that coupon again: http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/coupon.cfm

The way my HL handles it is, if an item's on sale that week, they won't let you use the coupon at all -- not even ignoring the sale price and taking the 40% off the regular price. But if it's not featured in the weekly sale, it's fair game (except for the exclusions listed on the coupon...custom floral, GCs, etc).

You got a great deal on the cupcake pan last week! Hope your sis can fix you up again this week!

bobbi

i need the best deal on flowers for my moms birthday on saturday. thanks

Amy

hi,i'm looking for a coupon for Best Buy or anywhere else that offers a Toshiba vcr/dvd combo model# sd-v295 by Thursday,i would really like to spend $89.00.

Amanda

Hi Becky,

I'm trying to buy a gaming laptop with good resolution for under $2000, hopefully by September. I know that's not terribly specific but if you could find a coupon that might help I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Becky

Amy, I'm doing what I can -- back with you later this evening!

Amanda, you're next on my list! Will let you know what I find!

Keep those deal requests coming in, folks!

Normilda

Hi Becky!

Fetched the pan from my sister this morning when I went up north. I also read the blog while up there and seen the new coupon. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I guess my sister smchoozed them into giving her the coupon off on my cupcake pan because it was actually on clearance, not on sale. She is good at talking herself into a bargain. Lucky for me. LOL.
Anyways, I printed off 2 coupons this time since she didn't want anything - and I had her buy me a pan - and I bought one. I got a Stadium pan - looking like a stadium - and empty in the middle so you can make it a football/baseball/track stadium of your choice. Paid $17.50 - normal price was $29.00. Second one I got was the infamous beehive cake. I already had one that was williams senoma brand - but it was a lot smaller than the original one. So this time I got the big one. I paid $22.80 for it, original price was $38.00.
Thank you so very much for the deal. Any more you can send would be greatly appreciated.
Take Care And God Bless
Hugs, Normilda

I need a good sale coupon off of the round drapery rods made of pewter or stainless steel. with the smaller round hoops like the kind JcPennys sells not Walmart any help would be wonderful the circle clips at JcPennys are 20.00 for 6 each not including the rod and i need a 120inch rod and a 48inch rod that will be holding sheers and draperies so i figure i will need at least 8 to 12 packs of the rods alone

Linda

Hi, I have a really hard one for you all. I'm looking for a motorized wheel chair, power chair or scooter so I can get around. Right now I'm stuck in the house in my wheel chair. Unfortunately, I have exhausted all the options I thought were open to me, and they weren't. I am retired and without insurance, except for what the VA pays for my service connected disability. If any of you have one of these laying around not being used and are willing to part with it for 300 or less if possible, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks.

Becky

Amy, I'm soooo sorry I couldn't get back with you before today! Did you find the DVD/VCR combo yet? If you can give me another day or two I may be able to get you below $89!

Wow, Normilda -- YAY!!! on your new pans! I love Hobby Lobby! I've shopped there enough to kind of have a handle on the sales rotation. Everything in the store (pretty much) goes on sale at least once a month, either for 40% off or 50% off! Patience is definitely a virtue! :)

Hi, Caroline! I want to make sure I'm looking for a price on the right thing -- is there a name at JCPenney of the item they sell that you want me to find cheaper? Or could you mail me a link to the product page? The "smaller round hoops" part threw me a little. If you can help me understand what it is, I can find you a deal on it! :)

Bless your heart, Ms. Linda! It makes me SO angry that someone with a service-related disability is NOT properly being taken care of by our country! You have got me FIRED UP to find you that chair or scooter! It may take me a couple of days... but I'll find one! If you can tell me what city you're in or which big city you're near (you can email me if you'd rather: blogger@quickrewards.net), I'll get right on it!

Please keep those deal requests coming, everybody!

Debbie C.

I love this concept! What a great idea! But, unfortunately, I am looking for deals for our WDW vacation next year. But true discounted park tickets (+$10 discount) and Disney discounted room rates for early summer are almost impossible to find.

Quail 70

I need a coupon for 4 very good quality new Michelin tires, 16 inch. I would like them to be under $200. If I can't find Michelin, then Goodyear would do. Thank You.

LYNDA DWIGHT

Trish

Cari

I'm looking for anything with Mickey Mouse. My daughter has her whole apartment decorated in Mickey Mouse.

Thanks,
Cari

Kim

My daughter and I found really great Redken products thanks to our stylist but I hate paying salon prices. Do you know where I can find good deals on Clear Moisture Shampoo and/or Conditioner. I have looked at drugstore.com but I was hoping for a better deal.

I am also looking for Matrix Biolage Antidandruff Shampoo.

Thanks Becky!

Sandi

Hi There,

I am looking to see if it is possible for Williams Sonoma to be a QR merchant. Would like to buy some Holiday gifts so October is my time frame.

Thank you,
Sandi

Jerryk

Hi Becky,

We are rebuilding after a house fire. One thing sure that is wanted is a "Niocolette" grandfather clock made by Howard Miller. Lookiong for it for as little as possible - definitely under $3000. I know that this is an odball, but hope you can help. Best I have found so far is on E Bay for a little over $3000.

Also any spectacular deals on furniture, washer, dryer, TV's refrigerator and accessory items for the house wouild be great.

New house should be finished and ready for occupancy in 6 to 8 weeks.

Thanks,

Jerry

Becky

I'm emailing everybody who has posted here requesting deals -- as I find suggestions for you, I'll post them in the Deals I Found For You post here: http://shopblog.quickrewards.net/my_weblog/2008/08/deals-i-found-f.html

...and I'll also email you back to let you know what I found, in case you don't check back on the blog.

Keep those deal requests coming! I'm happy to help if I can!

pblgov

Becky, I need a site that sells 100 dollar bills for like 20 bucks... know of any?

lol

Becky

I can help ya out with that, PBL! You send me your 20 dollar bills, and I'll send you some $100s! They're a pale yellow color and have the word "Monopoly" on them, but... ;)

Barb

Becky~Can you get me a coupon code for Lillian Vernon please. My catalogue here at home shows free shipping over $59. The site Coupon Cabin shows me free shipping over $59 (code-638850100 and ends 9/30/98). I would like to match this or anything else that you could find that would be better. Need to shop before the end of the month. Thanks!

Becky

I replied to Barb in email but wanted to put this here in case anyone else saw it and also needed the codes:

15% off $59 or more with code 358860100

Free Shipping on $65+ with code 728860100

$10 off $60 or more with code 638850100

QR's link to Lillian Vernon for 4.1% cash back: http://www2.quickrewards.net/earn/list.html?t=Shopping&q=lillian&x=0&y=0

Melissa

I'm looking for a store that sells cookie cutters. In particular, I need ones that are baby themed such as bottle, teddy bear, diaper pin, etc. I need them for making sugar cookies for a baby shower in October.

Thanks so much for the help!

katsoints

Becky
I am looking for uggs boots big kids size 4. Any help would be appreciated. I found them for aroung $90.00 so far want them for xmas. My daughter says that you can convert adult sizes into kids, which is a savings of $100.00 already.

Also is overstock coming back to qr. I want to make some purchases for xmas.

I am gearing up for xmas so be prepared I am going to definetely use your services.

Kat

Becky

Melissa, I've looked all over for those cookie cutters and I think your best bet is to go through Amazon!

This link will get you a month of free Prime membership (with free 2-day shipping): http://www.amazon.com/gp/subs/primeclub/signup/extmain.html?
ref=prime_assoc_bt&tag=freedvdfory0e-20

Then search for Fox Run Baby Cookie Cutter Set (it'll be $6.99, with free Prime shipping). You can't get QR cash back (Amazon won't let their affiliates offer it), but even without it, that's the best price I could find!

Kat, will get right to work on the price for those Uggs! You're looking for Uggs kids size 4 -- any particular color or style?

katspoints

classic or the crochet style in tan or sand.

thanks
kat

Kim

Becky - I want to get digital frames this holiday season, and naturally I am looking for a good deal.

Thanks for your help.

Becky

Kat: working on your Uggs deal and will let you know when I find something below $90 -- it helps that you don't need them until Christmas because I think we'll find better promos as we get closer to Black Friday! If you buy them before I get back with you, please let me know so I'll know to stop looking! :)

Kim, I think you're going to be VERY happy with the way the prices on digital frames have come down in the past year! Do you have a particular size or brand in mind? Obviously those things will affect the price. Even if you can tell me "at least this size" or "big-name manufacturer's only" vs. "any maker" that'll help me narrow down the search. Thanks and I'll get right to work on that!

FloridaGrandma

Becky, I love the Ultimate Wall-e at DisneyShopping in your hot toy list for Christmas but don't think that Grandpa will let me spend $249 on a remote-control toy for our granddaughters (age 7 and 5). I wish you could locate a sturdy educational remote-control robot in the $100-$150 price range. Maybe a Build-a-Robot? By Thanksgiving please, so that Santa can deliver it.

Geralene Spivey

I need some compression hose real bad. I have bought from this site before and I would like for it to be included in the QR shopping. Any deal that you can get from this company would be fine. I would like something offered within 1 to 1 1/2 months. Hope you can get this.
