End of Quarter Deadline Approaching for QuickRewards Elite Status

As you probably know, QuickRewards.net has a rewards program-within-a-rewards program, the Elite Membership level, reserved for our members who either complete 75+ surveys or place 5+ orders of $10 or more within a quarter.

If you're not familiar with the Elite membership program within QR, it's free and anyone who meets the requirements of 75+ surveys or 5+ $10 or more shopping orders in a quarter can join by sending an email to QR support.  The benefits of Elite Membership include survey bonuses of up to $20 per quarter, bonuses on your 6th+ shopping order over $10 in the quarter, double tokens all quarter long, and the ability to redeem tokens for gift cards.  More info on Elite membership including the FAQ is here; please note that there will be some minor changes to the shopping benefits in the fourth quarter and we'll let you know about them as soon as they're finalized.  Survey benefits will remain the same.

Hi, I'm C.J., and my mom, Becky, asked me to do a post on here about her merchant of the week, Hollywood Toys and Costumes.

Okay, first of all, after looking at the front page of this site, I could tell I would definitely be shopping here for Halloween.

One of the things I would like to get would be the Scarecrow Custom Fangs. These aren't like the other obviously fake vampire teeth. These actually look like teeth and have a special mold that fit your teeth perfectly. They're only... $15.99!

And actually, so far my favorite thing I've come across is an adult-size costume of Cartman from South Park. Yes, really. This has the headpiece, shirt, and pants. I'm pretty sure I know who I'm being this Halloween. He costs $42.99.

Has anyone heard the song "Peanut Butter Jelly Time"? The guy who is singing it is shaking maracas and is dressed like a banana. All you need to make your friends laugh and/or think you're crazy is this Banana costume. $36.99.

My Maw-Maw lived about two hours away but we visited her at least once a month, sometimes more.  We spent all of the major holidays at her house (my other set of grandparents died when I was younger).  She sewed all the granddaughters these super-hip leopard print capes in the mid-'70s, when they were in style.  She taught me how to snap beans and TRIED to teach me how to quilt and how to make wild plum jelly, but being more of the bookish type, I never caught on.  That was okay with her, though -- she took me to the library instead.  She had a huge heart and would cry if someone in the family was going through a tough time.  Her homemade biscuits were AMAZING.  SHE was amazing.  She passed away a week after my daughter was born, coming up on 9 years in December.  I miss her every day.

Grandparents have SUCH an important role to play in the family -- you're the keeper of our family history, you know the "old-fashioned" (or some would say, "the time-tested and PROVEN") ways of doing things that are being lost in the modern rush to get by with doing things faster and not always as well.  You grandparents provide our kids with a role model, a confidante, a safe haven...  Heck, many of you are RAISING your grandchildren, alone or with help.

None of us would be here without our grandparents.  Thank you for giving us life.  Thank you for loving us.  Thank you for being you!  Happy Grandparents Day!
