One of QuickRewards members' favorite merchants is QVC -- I'm a fan myself because after you see a great item on TV, you can hop on the computer and shop through QR's link to QVC for cash back on the order.

But until this week, we were unable to provide cash back for orders at Home Shopping Network because of some silly and confusing tax law regarding New York affiliates.  Boy, was I shocked (and tickled to death!) when we received an email from HSN saying that they had worked all that out and they wanted back on QuickRewards!

So I'm very pleased to say that QR is now able to offer 3% cashback on orders from Home Shopping Network (HSN)!

• 10% bonus* on all shopping cashback earned following the fifth purchase each quarter
• Special contests for Elite members only

• Advance notice of sales
• And other surprises and gifts for Elite Members only!

To achieve QuickRewards Elite Membership status, you must meet ONE of the following qualifications:

• Be a current member of the QuickRewards.net Frequent Shopper Program (with at least one order in September)

OR

• Have completed 75 or more surveys of any type (OTX, Greenfield, and targeted) through QuickRewards in the time period of July 1 through September 30

OR

Terms:
1. Ebay and iTunes orders have to be over $10 to count toward the 5 required orders to maintain Elite membership.  For all other merchants, at least 3 out of the 5 required orders must be over $10 before shipping/taxes/coupons.
2.  Orders and surveys are counted toward the requirements of the quarter in which they were completed (although due to crediting delays they may not credit until after several days after the quarter ends).
3.  Failure to meet the requirements for one quarter will result in a loss of Elite privileges for the next quarter.  If you meet the requirements again, you will be reinstated into the Elite program the following quarter. Grace periods are only given on a case-by-case basis upon request.
4.  Surveys that are manually credited do not count towards the 75 required surveys to maintain the membership.
5.  Quarter 1 is defined as JAN/FEB/MARCH, Quarter 2 is APRIL/MAY/JUNE, Quarter 3 is JULY/AUG/SEPT and Quarter 4 is OCT/NOV/DEC.
6.  Shopping orders that are returned or canceled will not count towards the minimum required to maintain the membership.
7. QuickRewards reserves the right to cancel the Elite membership program, change its program benefits or requirements, or ban a member from the Elite program any time.

*Within two weeks after the end of a quarter, Elite Members will receive a bonus of 10% extra cashback earned on all orders placed after meeting the five order requirement. This bonus is an extra 10% of your cash back earned, not an additional 10% added to the merchant's cashback rate.  Note that the 10% bonus will not apply to  purchases made at a few merchants, including merchants that pay 1% or less in cashback rates.

Online Shopping Coupon Codes Now at QuickRewards.net!

You asked for it...you got it!  QuickRewards.net now offers coupons for your favorite merchants!

If you go to a merchant's page on QR, for instance the Chadwicks page here, you'll see:

[More Info]  [Do Offer]  [Coupons]

Clicking on the [Coupons] link will take you to all of the coupons we've compiled for the store.  Sometimes a coupon is in the form of a code you enter at checkout; other times it's a link you have to click through to receive the discount.

If you don't see the [Coupons] link for a particular merchant, it's because there are none available, or because they're not currently on the list of sites we're monitoring for new coupons.

The coupon database is starting out as a manual process, though Super-Programmer Eugene has it on his to-do list to automate it.  Because of the number of merchants QuickRewards has, and the number of codes out there (all expiring at different times), for now, coupons will be kept updated only for QR's most popular merchants...or by member request.

About to buy and you need a coupon?  Or, you found a coupon elsewhere that we don't have?  Please email me:  blogger@quickrewards.net -- I will be happy to find a coupon code you can use.  I'm online most of the day and will respond quickly because QuickRewards values your business!

I think this is a good point to interject a warning about using coupon codes you find from other websites:  If you use a coupon code you obtained anywhere but through QuickRewards.net, you run the risk of not receiving your cashback.

No, it's not because we're a bunch of meanies!  There's a reason behind it:

Some coupon codes are given out to a specific websites.  When you use one of those coupons, the commission for your purchase goes to whoever the code was issued to.  If the code was specifically issued to NaughtyCodes or CouponCabin, and you try to use it on QuickRewards.net, the coupon site gets the commission for your purchase.  If QR doesn't get the commission, they can't pay you your cut (your cash back).

So!  If you need a coupon for a store that doesn't have a [Coupons] link, or if you saw a great coupon on another site and want to know if you can use it at QuickRewards, please just email me before you run the risk that you'll miss out on your cash back reward!  A coupon alone is nice... but a coupon plus cash back is even better!
